BENEFITS OF IUI

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is a fertility treatment designed to increase the number of sperm that reach the fallopian tubes, thereby increasing the chance of fertilization.

At Childress Nursing Services (CNS), we specialize in providing comprehensive in-home or at-office home fertility nurse injection and support services, thereby enhancing your IUI journey in managing these treatments effectively.

IUI fertility treatment is typically the 1st step in your fertility treatment journey, granted there is no infertility diagnosis or special circumstances that requires skipping this step and utilizing a more advanced ART (assisted reproductive technology) level of care with IVF (in-vitro fertilization) treatment.

Phase 1: IUI typically begins with the administration of fertility medications such as Clomid or gonadotropins (Gonal-F, Follistim and Menopur) to stimulate follicle or egg production

Phase 2: Following medication management, sperm is collected, prepared, and directly inserted into the uterus around the time of ovulation. CNS home fertility nurses support you throughout this process by administering fertility injectable meds, monitoring response to intense fertility hormone therapy, and providing personalized skilled nursing care to optimize the timing and conditions for insemination.

Our CNS Stork nurses provide comprehensive support throughout the IUI cycle. They administer all of your fertility medication injectables at your home or office, closely monitor your treatment response, and adjust treatments per your fertility clinic provider's orders, as needed, to enhance the effectiveness of the procedure. This continuous and expert support throughout the treatment cycle sets CNS apart, ensuring you receive the best possible care without the stress of managing complex medication schedules on your own.

At CNS, we know that every client's IUI treatment cycle is unique, and we seek to provide customized home fertility nurse care plans that provide continuous, flexible support, including in-home or office visits for ALL medication administrations. Our comprehensive service model reduces the typical stresses linked to fertility treatment injections. With support from our network of over 200 health insurance partners, we ensure our services are both affordable and accessible.
